Joff Macleod is a director and CEO of MGI Melbourne. A graduate from The University of Melbourne, Joff has a Masters of Taxation from the same University and in excess of twenty years experience in the accountancy profession.
After gaining a grounding in the chartered accounting profession, Joff joined MGI Melbourne (then Boyd Tuckwell Lush) in 1987 and has been a director since 1995. In this position he is responsible for advising groups of large private clients in all aspects of business including taxation, superannuation and retirement planning, corporate finance, strategic planning and succession planning.
Joff is also actively involved in the Corporate Finance division of MGI Melbourne / MGI Sydney and in this role has been involved in providing advice on all stages of a business life cycle including raising seed and venture capital funding, preparing business for sale or investment, managing and advising business growth strategies and assisting with the purchases and sale of businesses.
Joff has presented papers at various seminars throughout Australia and overseas on taxation, superannuation and international taxation. He also sits in an advisory capacity on a number of private company boards, sporting bodies and charitable bodies.
